Trace selection tab is not working in Allergo Pspice simulation

Hi there,

I practicing this project for AC sweep, https://www.ema-eda.com/courses/pspice-22-1-walk-through/lessons/lesson-11-ac-sweep/

After the PSpice >Run , the simulation continues but I can not see the Add trace tab, here

What's the wrong I am doing.

Should I not use "VSIN" because  its not an AC source, it's a sine wave voltage source.

It works if I use  part "VAC" (although you can still use "VSIN" but add AC=1 in the
selections).

Kindly let me know.

Hasan

Once 100% simulation is completed, it will show Add Trace option in PSpice probe window menu.

I tried running simulation for the design in reference and simulation got completed 100% without any issue and Add Trace option is also visible.

rg13  I don't know what happened in my simulation file but it only works if i do  AC=1 and avoid VSIN.

It looks like your simulation data wasn't created due to missing AC value - this is set by property AC for AC sweep - This is also done in the video link you are referring.

The property AC=1 will inject an AC pulse with frequency being swept as defined in AC sweep simulation settings.

Without AC property, the simulation output should have given a warning like below.
