SysCap – Tip of the Week: Making Wire Connection

The Draw Stubs option in System Capture lets you quickly make wiring connections. Refer to our earlier post here.

You can use Selection Filter along with the Draw Stubs option to draw wires on the required component pins.

Turn off the All Objects filter and choose Pin in Selection Filter. Select the required component pins, right-click, and select Draw Stubs.

If you choose the Draw Stubs > Same As Pin Name option, System Capture will assign net names as per the components’ pin names. You can rename these net names by selecting the nets and choosing the Rename option. A pervious post covers this in detail.
