Overview of Task Assistant in Clarity 3D Workbench

The Task Assistant is a built-in medium within the tool to access help. It offers quick resolutions to the most relevant ‘getting started’ questions. It contains specially designed help pages that provide a quick overview in the form of task-based topics. The help pages are short and provide crisp information. So, whether you are a novice or an expert user of Clarity 3D Workbench, task assistant will help you get the work done faster.

Here is a list of typical ‘getting started’ questions for which you can find answers via the Task Assistant:

  • How do I run the simulation on a local computer on both Windows and Linux?
  • How do I distribute a simulation run from a Windows computer to one or multiple Linux servers?
  • How do I distribute a simulation run on a server farm?
  • How do I distribute a simulation on the Cadence Cloud server?
  • How do I set up the Resources on Multiple Linux Computers using SSH or RSH?

To access task assistant in Clarity 3D Workbench, click the Help button on the Set up Computer Resources form.
