Hi All ,

Actually i use Allegro PCB designer 17.2 S068 with High speed option  and I see here that normally the IR drop workflow is available .

But i can't select anything on the menu , select power tree is grey .

Do i need an upgrade , install a another tool (Sigrity ) ?

Thank you for your help .

No, you can't run the simulation of IR Drop in Allegro+High Speed Option. You can only load and observe the results of simulation.
To run the simulation, you need the Sigrity Aurora license which may be probably not too expensive because there are some promo prices for it.

Or you need some Sigrity licenses.

thanks for the clarification.  IR drop would be the only thing I could justify adding high-speed for at my current job.
