How to Use AMI and DLL Files with IBIS Model in Topology Explorer (TopXp) tool

There are two methods to assign *.ibs,*.ami, and *.dll to do channel simulation.

Method 1:

You can add the *.ami/*.dll model on the canvas directly in TopXp. Select Tx or Rx, right-click on the Tx or Rx block and select Add AMI.

The AMI bubble will be added to the Tx/Rx block.

Method 2 :

You can add following [Algorithmic Model] statement inside the *.ibs file and call *.ami and *.dll model files in the ibis file.

[Algorithmic Model]

Executable

Windows_VisualStudio2015_64 NameOfAMIModel.dll NameOfAMIModel.ami

[End Algorithmic Model]

[Algorithmic Model]

Executable Windows_VisualStudio12.0.31101.00_64 pcie5_Rx_licensed_win64.dll pcie5_Rx_BCI_licensed.ami Executable Linux_gcc4.1.2_64 pcie5_Rx_licensed_rh64.dll pcie5_Rx_BCI_licensed.ami

[End Algorithmic Model]

Here, an older version of Visual Studio, VisualStudio12.0.31101.00_64, is used.
