Connectivity Checking in Topology Explorer

SimTech

In Topology Explorer, there is a function which allows for a quick check between the Rx and Tx block. This is usually done before the Bus Simulation to make sure all the connections are placed correctly. This can be done by clicking on Check Connectivity in the SystemSI Workflow.

The Connectivity Checker window will open in the bottom of the TopXp window. Click on Check to run the Connectivity Checker.

The results shown above show that all of the connections in this example satisfy the check , Average magnitude is close to 1 signify there is a good connectivity.

Yes, this is a nice tip to check the connectivity before to run the simulation, this ensures all the blocks are connected properly in the topology!
