Help With Capture CIS

Hello Everybody, I have a problem using Capture CIS. I tried to simulate a very simple circuit, just a DC source, LM338K and 2 resistors, but it doesn't work :-(. A windows appears and says: "Warning Were reported, check session log". I read de the session log and says this :

Writing PSpice Flat Netlist C:\PSD_Data\Power Supply-PSpiceFiles\SCHEMATIC1\SCHEMATIC1.net WARNING [NET0093] No PSpiceTemplate for U1, ignoring/* PSpice netlist generation complete

I tried in so many ways to make it work, but nothing. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks Juan Manuel Ibañez

    Hi!

    Maybe you're using a non-Pspice library.

    Those libraris don't have the data necessary to run PSpice.

    Use the ones who have those info. They're located underneath the rest of the Capture libraries.

    Thanks for answering xmoix! Do you mean use the libraries from the following path? I'm using those ones C:\Cadence\PSD_15.1\tools\capture\library\pspice.

     Yes!

    Otherwise, a lot of electronic components manufacturers have their own generated Pspice models to use in your own simulations.

    I'm also having difficulty when I try to run a simulation from capture.  When I run a simple circuit with resisters I get a reasonable output in biasis point with a DC Voltage.  When I substitute an  AC source in the circuit for the DC source I get zeros through out the circuit for both node voltages and branch currents.
