Flexible Access: TUI or GUI

After the JedAI server is set up, Quantus Assistant can be accessed in two convenient ways, depending on your preferred workflow.

1. Terminal User Interface (TUI)

If you prefer working in the terminal, you can launch Quantus Assistant directly using quantus_copilot

After authenticating with your login credentials, you can simply ask questions like:

• What is the purpose of the extracted view TRP file?
• How do I perform layer fracturing in RC extraction?

The response is neatly organized into:

• Quantus Copilot Response – The direct answer
• Sources – Links to the exact documentation sections
• Follow-Up Questions – Related queries you may want to explore next

This structured format makes it easy not just to get an answer, but to understand the context behind it.

2. Graphical User Interface (GUI)

For a more visual and interactive experience, the GUI mode is a great choice—especially for new users. The GUI can be launched:

• From the command line using: quantus_copilot -gui
• From the standalone Quantus UI
• Or directly from Virtuoso Studio Layout Suite XL

The GUI opens as a chat-based interface with clickable source references and suggested follow-up questions, making deeper exploration effortless—without switching contexts.
