I cant find howis it possible to see a simulation progress while its running in ADE XL(GXL)? On the lower left corner i see the running -0/1 complete, but i want to see the % of completion. Is there any way i can do that?
Since there are potentially many simulations being run in ADE XL (e.g. corners, sweeps etc), showing the percentage of completion of a single simulation isn't terribly helpful. You can do Right Mouse->Output log in the results pane - over one of the specific runs (e.g. the Nominal run, or one of the corners - for the specific test in question). That allows you to see the simulation log and see what's happening for that particular run.

When i Right Mouse->Output Log, that menu is not active, so it just doesnt work.
What i found is: In the results tab, when i select Status from the drop-down menu, it shows progress bar on top.
However... its *NOT* helpful at all, because during a run progress bar is just at 0%, and it jumps to 100% right when the simulation is finished.
Because if i run some specific single and long simulation, it is *very* helpful to see the progress.
Any other suggestions maybe?

Which IC614 version are you using? (Help->About in the CIW will tell you, or typing getVersion(t) in the CIW).
I recall there being an issue where the Output Log menu was greyed out, but I thought it was longer ago than that - I can't quite remember off the top of my head.
The Status mode is to show you the overall simulation progress, primarily when you're running many simulations - so if you were running multiple corners, it would show you the overall progress. The output log would tell you within a single run - so we need to find out why that's not working (note, IC614 is no longer supported...)

ok well, now i see it did work out, its just for some reason menu was grayed before.
and also, sometimes it was like, output log popped out, but i didnt see percentage of completeness, but now for some transient test i do see the % of completed progress.
