How do I install and configure the License AWR - University Program?

Once you receive an email with product and license assignment after registering on Cadence system, follow the steps below to use it.  

1.  Download, install, and start the software. Click OK on the following dialog.

2.  In the AWR License Configuration dialog box, click the Configure button to display the License Configuration dialog box. 

3.  In the License Configuration dialog box, select Single User License. Enter your Cadence account email and password then click Download. 

4.  A status window displays the license generation and download progress. The entire process can take several minutes. When the download is complete, a new dialog box displays to indicate that your single user license is ready. Click OK to close the dialog box. The license is now set up.

5.  Once you are properly configured the AWR License Configuration dialog should show “Running with Cadence SUL licensing”.

    Hi - I am getting this error even though license configuraiton manager says license is upto date: 

    Version: 17.04r build 17603 Rev1 (a31ec39df)
    OS: Microsoft Windows 10 (or greater)Enterprise Edition, 64-bit (build 19045)
    Features:
    Configuration: Running with AWR licensing

    AWR Configuration
    not configured

    Cadence Configuration
    not configured

    Cadence SUL Configuration
    SUL file :C:\Users\nauma\AppData\Roaming\Cadence\VBL\AWR\license\license.txt
    File status: found

    Last message: Failed connecting to the license service.
    Setting up license for: C:\Program Files (x86)\AWR\AWRDE\17\MWOffice.exe
    Setting up using the configured environment variables
    No product features were found using this configuration

    I am not sure but it seems installation issue, If you are installing SUL license, check the following link:

    If issue still not resolve file case or search for particular error on Cadence Support
