Switch in analogLib

 Hello,

I am facing difficult in creating netlist with the switch component in analogLib.

It says, Cant switch to cell analogLib/ switch. Switch views:("schematic").

I tackled it, by changing the 'switch views' description to 'symbol'.

But it is not feasible for a large dsign with many sub circuits.

Also, i coulnt make it work properly in a small circuit as i dont know exactly about the pins and parameters of the switch.

Please help.

Thanks & Regards,

Renju

     Hi Renju,

I would like to add to what Derek said.  The "view name list" can also be set by a .cdsenv setting:

     schematic  viewNameList string "schematic symbol"

Remember that the list is ordered, so if the first view exists, then it is used, otherwise the next and so on.

The Hierarchy Editor tool allows a more sophisticated control over the views to use for specific cells and instances by creating a configuration.  The netlister uses the config view to work out how to expand the design.

     Regards,

    Lawrence.
