manual for virtuoso transient analysis and correct setup for read all manuals

Dear All,

I have two questions addressed as the following:

1. I need to access the manual which tells me the details of vituoso transient analysis. What I really want is not the general procedure of how to run transient analysis, but rather the detailed setups such as those under the "options" button on the right bottom page of transient window.

2. When I click the "help" button on one of the Cadence windows, most of time I will get an error message stating that I cannot access that page. Can any one give me the details of how to setup up the HELP manual correctly?

Thanks a lot in advance and have a nice day!

Refer to documents in the MMSIM stream folder, particularly:

    /MMSIM/doc/spectreref/spectreref.pdf

    /MMSIM/doc/spectreuser/spectreuser.pdf

In shell, type spectre -h tran to see a description of all the things listed under "options".

    Hope this helps.
