FATAL (CMI-2010) : assertion failed in file 'param_shared.c' at line 2378

I am updating cadence from v5141 to v6.1.2. , spectre version is 6.2.0.420, PDK is IBM cmrf8sf version 1.6. When I am doing simulation using spectre I got following massage:

FATAL (CMI-2010) : assertion failed in file 'param_shared.c' at line 2378.

FATAL (SPECTRE-21): Assertion failed.

Any idea to solve this problem? Thanks a lot.

My first suggestion would be to try a later spectre version. I did find one report of this (filed on 4th August, using the same version as you - and it was resolved by the user fixing the model files in an unspecified way...). So I suspect your problem has been resolved by now (unless it's a complete coincidence and the service request was not from your organisation).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
