Using spectre netlist as input to ASSURA

Hi,

this is a simple question, but it looks like I cannot find the answer to it... I have a layout view and a netlist in spectre format (no schematic, just a text file containing a netlist in spectre format). Is it possible to use ASSURA LVS to check the matching between the layout and the spectre netlist text file? or do I always need a schematic view?

Thanks and regards,

Pedro

    Hi Julia

It seems that your issue is slightly different. You seem to be having a cdl import issue. Would you please start a new thread and provide more description on the problem? E.g. your device map file, output of "icfb -W", a small portion of your netlist with the different devices (mos, cap, res, etc), etc.

    Hi Pedro

There are actually quite a lot of discussion on spectre-to-spice conversion in other forums. I think ultimately the answer is to use a perl script to do it. Hope that this link might help you.
