ADE L | post-layout simulation | input.scs error | missing model

 Hi,

after successful RLC extraction I got a av_extracted view, which I set in ADE Setup->Environment... in the Switch View List in order to perform post-layout simulation. The netlist is created without any error. However, when I start to run a transient simulation I get te following error:

<< ERROR (SFE-23): "input.scs" 48743: ra4289 is an instance of an undefined model met4.>>

There is a series of errors actually, with different model names (met4, met1, poly1) and number coming after "input.scs" in the above quoted error line.

I thought, the PDK (AMS C35 0.35um process) should provide such models, but I cannot find any in the Hit Kit directory.

 Thanks for help in advance,

Kind Regards,

pitter.

The include as comment only means that the "model name" (the type or layer that originated the parasitic) is included as a comment - the actual parasitic is included in both cases.

Not sure why your pre and post layout simulation results would be the same.
