question regarding real inductor model

This question is really very specific to whatever design kit (PDK) you're using. It's impossible to answer it generally, because a physical inductor will be part of the design kit - that may have feedback on the inductance, or there may be a synthesis tool to produce the appropriate inductor.

There are also various tools available to synthesize inductors (e.g. from Lorentz Solutions and Helic, to name just two - there are undoubtedly others - see Cadence Connections Program).

Thank you very much for your information. The design kits that I am using is ca18 Jazz Design Kits, and the inductor type that I am using is ca18m6. Once I open its instance property, I can only see one of the fields named Lfgoes0, which stands for effective inductance at frequency approaches zero (Ldc). However, I cannot see Linsterest, which stands for effective inductance at operating frequency. I know this maybe specific to the Jazz design kits. Just in case if you know how to change CDF setting (this is just my guessing) so that I can add Linterest into its property. Thanks and have a nice weekend!

The information from the foundry usually isn't exhaustive, they just give some important figures such as resonant freq or peak Q freq. Why not create a testbench to evaluate the inductance and quality factor over a specific frequency range using S-parameters?
