Is it possible to see a completely blank window when zoom out?

I am using Virtuoso Layout Editor version IC6.1.3

When I turned all the layers (except one that I don't use) to invisible and zoom out, then I will see red outlines of the devices. When I zoom in again then it disappeared.

Is it possible to turn of those red outline when I zoom out?

  • That is probably not what you want to do. The filter tells Cadence how many pixels wide the data should be before Cadence will draw it. This will speed up the drawing of a cellview by not drawing very small pieces of data when zoomed out. Next to the Filter is a Style that is either "Empty", "Outlined" or "Filled". Try changing your filter back to somthing like 6 and set this Style to Empty. Alternatively, turn off the visibility of "Instance" in the LSW. Instance visibility appears in the Object section of the LSW.
