Hi all

When icfb startup or running, it will suddenly hang, and the CIW shows:

Waiting for ipc:0 to terminate

Waiting for ipc:0 to terminate

……

Sometimes it shows ipc:1, ipc:2, etc.

What happend and how to solove this problem?

Thanks to all.

Best wishes.

    Hi feiyu

    This is most likely related to mismatch network info. COS solution 11527850 provides some good tips on how to resolve it.

    Would you please check if the ip address shown in output of "ifconfig -a" cmd and /etc/hosts file are in sync? E.g. the following shows a conflict in the ip addresses (192.168.80.123 vs 192.168.80.128):

    === /etc/hosts ===
    # The following line might be present
    192.168.80.123 myMachine

    === ifconfig -a ===
    eth0      Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 00:0C:29:D3:65:6F
              inet addr:192.168.80.128  Bcast:192.168.80.255  Mask:255.255.255.0
              inet6 addr: fe80::20c:29ff:fed3:656f/64 Scope:Link
              UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST  MTU:1500  Metric:1

    If the above has no problem, try kill all cdsNameServer processes and then restart icfb:
    linux>pkill cdsNameServer

    Also, just to be sure that this is not related to any scripts, you can try starting icfb using:
    unix>icfb -nocdsinit &

    Ensure that the hostname in the following 3 files is consistent:
    /etc/sysconfig/network
    /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcg-eth0
    /etc/resolv.conf

    Best regards
