Exporting LEF format file from layout library

Hi All,

 

Can you please tell me if it is possible to export LEF file from the cells in current layout library in IC6.1.3? And if yes, how to do that or what other alternatives to use?Because it seems, that simple clicking on appropriate buttons don't give the desired/any result.

    1.  I am using IC6.1.3.500.10
    2. This is what i do:

         File-Export-LEF

    _____________________________________

    LEF File Name:abc.lef

    Library name:tsmc45

    "cells" buttom is highlited

    Output Cell:MUX2_8

    Output Views:layout

    Log File Name:abc.log

    LEF version: 5.6

    "Use GUI Fields" buttom is highlited 

    __________________________________________ 

    No Errors occur. At first, everything seems fine. But the problem is that the generated abc.lef file does not contain information about specified MACRO. It seems that it gives information about technology file. So, imported abstract view is empty.

    Here is the only information in abc.lef about given MUX2_8 cell

    MACRO MUX2_8
      PROPERTY oaTaper "__DerivedDefaultTaperCG" ;
      PROPERTY lastSavedExtractCounter 303 ;
    END MUX2_8
