How to import spice models libraries (*.lib and *.olb) in cadence/virtuoso/spectre ?

 Hello, I would like to use the vendor spice model libraries (*.lib , *.olb or *.cir) in cadence. Is it possible to import these libraries in cadence and then open the schematics in virtuoso and simulate in spectre ?

  • Cadence is the company name, not the tool name. There is no tool called "Cadence".

    I am of course assuming that you are in fact talking about the Virtuoso Analog Design Environment and not the Orcad Capture tool or Pspice - because those are completely different tools mainly focused on PCB rather than IC design, and hence generally covered over on the PCB design forum.

    This is precisely why the forum guidelines ask you to state which tool you are using (and the version)
