License check sequence in IC6.1.3

 Hi All,

Does anybody know how to set sequence of checking license features in IC6.1? I always need to use GXL

but it always goes to L, XL, then finds GXL. It takes a while as we have license in remote server.

Is there a way to force always look for GXL?

Thanks in Advance!

    Hi Aram,

Just because you use tcsh for interactive use, doesn't mean that you need to rewrite the script in tcsh. I also use csh/tcsh for everyday use, but ksh is a better shell for scripting.

Remember that the script is invoked by virtuoso whenever it needs to check for a license - so it could be written in perl, ksh, csh, tcl, whatever you like.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

     Hi Andrew,

It worked! It's still returning warnings in CIW, but checkout goes much faster, so I suppose it's just skipping actual L, XL check

    Thanks  a lot!
