error closing tranViolations.violations during long simulation

I have a long simulation running (100us) with about 1000 bsim4 devices, and when the size of tranViolations.violations reaches 2Gb the simuation halts saying the file size has exceeded the maximum. From what I gather this file has some relation with assert statements (which I am not familiar with), and my PDK's models generate asserts for voltage warnings. If I disable the asserts in the model file, will I still have this problem? Is there any other workaround? I'm using IC6.1.3.500.16 and spectre 7.1.1.071.

Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply Sunil. I've disabled the asserts in my model file. I have been advised by my foundry to wait until they release the next kit patch before upgrading the tools, which should be in a week or so.

    Regards,

    Tarek
