ASSURA41-614: ERROR rcAddRegionTasks

Hello,

We recently upgraded one of our PDKs and had to switch from ASSURA32 to ASSURA41 for physical verification. I tried doing an LVS on one of my layouts and got the following error:

Compiling rules...

ERROR rcAddRegionTasks - Unexpected region task.
Please inform Cadence of this system error.

Any ideas on what could cause this before I open an SR?

I am using:

ASSURA41  av4.1:Production:dfII6.1.4:IC6.1.4.485

IC614  sub-version  IC6.1.4.500.2

Thanks,

Tarek

I've seen a current CCR on this - 786653 - which is being worked on right now for one of the foundries, filed only 3 days ago. R&D are working on a version with more debugging information to help see if this sheds any light on it.

Perhaps you could send me a direct message and we can see if it's the same foundry...

I don't think it's something  you can resolve yourself, by the looks of things.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
