multi metal layers and vias

Dear All,

I am using IC5.1.41 for schematic and Vituoss XL layout for the layout drawing. The design kit that I am using is Jazz CA 18. Currently, I need to creat an array of vias (saying 12 by 10) between metal 1 and metal 5. I tried to create the via one by one and it seemed so tedious. In addition, once I made a mistake in drawing a via, I cannot even highlight the specific via and delete it. I am wondering whether there is a better way to perform it. Thanks a lot in advance.

    Hi Tester

Please use the contact functions from the toolbox. I think you are looking for "Contact Array" function. It allow you to create via arrays for non-adjacent metal layers.

    Best regards
