Rulers as Objects

Apes

I am adjusting to rulers being able to be copied, moved, stretched etc. However I find that sometimes I need to select a lot of things and I don't want the rulers to come with me. perhaps they are my references for the edit. I stumbled across the fact that in the LSW if I go to the Object submenu and turn all objects NS the rulers are no longer selectable! Yeah! I would like to know is there a way to add Ruler [VIS] [Sel] into this submenu? because unless I use the global NS for all objects, I am unable to control it individually. (I posted this in the wrong forum earlier, so sorry. )

     Hi Andrew,

I've read your posts about disabling selection of the rulers and the solution you reference too.  Is there a way to permanently disable ruler selection?

    Thanks,
