problem with updating vxl connectivity (IC5.1.41)

 Hi All,

 I have a problem updating my layout for conectivity information. for example there is a block that was changed in the top level schematic, say some pins were added in the block. when I do in layout window "update source" then "check against source" and finally "update instance and conectivity" I still can´t see the flight lines for the new pins. I fear that if I export the layout to VCAR, it will not be routed.

Am I doing it wrong or it is really a limitation of the tool.

for a work around, I delete the instance and then  reinstanciate again by "pick from schematic" and it works.

Does anybody knows an easier way to handle this?

    I can reproduce your observations using IC5141.500.6.144 and IC614.508. I think it is a bug. Thanks for reporting it. I have filed a request to R&D to fix it. If the connectivity is not present, vcar would not be able to do the routing. I think picking the instances again from the schematic is the best approach.
