problem with updating vxl connectivity (IC5.1.41)

 Hi All,

I have a problem updating my layout for conectivity information. for example there is a block that was changed in the top level schematic, say some pins were added in the block. when I do in layout window "update source" then "check against source" and finally "update instance and conectivity" I still can´t see the flight lines for the new pins. I fear that if I export the layout to VCAR, it will not be routed.

Am I doing it wrong or it is really a limitation of the tool.

for a work around, I delete the instance and then  reinstanciate again by "pick from schematic" and it works.

Does anybody knows an easier way to handle this?

 best regards,

lrlsk

    Hi Quek,

Thank you very much for your clarification. I would for the moment stick with the current work-around but in case there will be solution or skill script to ease the situation please let me know.

    best regards,
