ADE Calculator: how to reuse equation ?

boulot

 Hi,

 I want to write an equation  'X' in an other equation 'Y'.

Exemple, Actually  I must write entirely the equation like this:

X=VAR("vbat")/1000,

Y=5000*VAR("vbat")/1000

Now I want to simplify this equation :

X=VAR("vat")/1000 ,

Y=X*150

So can I  invoke a previous equation in other equation in the calculator?? Thanks.

    Provided you're using IC614 this is possible directly - you can use the output names in other expressions in the ADE outputs and ADE takes care of ordering the evaluation correctly.

    In releases before IC614 you can use the approach I described - put the assignment in as part of the expression. You however are responsible for ensuring that every variable is defined before it is used (the outputs are evaluated top to bottom).

    Regards,

    Andrew
