Re: Escape and Delete keys not working

Hi,

I have a strange problem where the escape and delete keys do not work in schematic and layout. I am using IC6.1.3 on a 64bit linux platform, executed virtuoso with the -nocdsinit option, and loaded the default bindkey files (e.g., for schematic bindkeys - $CDS_HOME/tools/dfII/samples/local/schBindKeys.il).

I have also redefined the escape and delete kes to do other commands using the hiSetBindKey command but they still do not work. Is there some environment variables that I need to set to ensure these two keys work? Thanks!

Sincere

I saw something similar to this years ago on HPUX.

What does this command report (in a terminal window):

    xmodmap -pk | grep Esc

    Thanks,

    Andrew.
