Issue with Wavescan:

boulot

 Hi,

Sometime it appends that Wavescan doesn't plot all the simulation results: If I run a simulation of 3 seconds it cut the plot a 10ms without  error message. It seems to be random.

 Thanks for your help!

Can you do an "ls -al" in your psf directory? If the results files are bigger than 2Gbytes, it may be because you're running spectre from an MMSIM release, where the default is to use single large files, whereas IC5141 still requires you to use the old "chunking" method.

This is enabled using "setenv PSF_WRITE_CHUNK_MODE_ON true" before starting icfb. This is described in more detail in Solution 11264780 .

BTW, the sub-version of IC5141 you're using is probably at least 4 years old (icfb -V will tell you the date). There have been two main updates and a lot of hotfixes since then.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
