How do I control CDLIn generating User Property information?

Hi, I'm generating schematics from a CDL file via CDLIn. The devices are mapping OK except I have an issue with the additional User Property values that are being attached to the instances. Mostly this is a property called 'subtype' but I also have 'perim' for a diode. Example of netlist, .SUBCKT INV Y A VDD VSS M1 Y A VSS VSS NCH_HVT w=0.5u L=0.1U M=1 M0 VDD A Y VDD PCH_HVT w=0.5u L=0.1U M=1 .ends INV Example of dev.map file, devMap := nfet nch_hvt_dnw devMap := pfet pch_hvt devMap := diode ndio_hvt After the schematic has been generated, I check the instance properties, and above the CDF Parameter section there is an additional User Property section with, User Property = subtype Local Value = PC I understand that you can add User Properties and they can be useful, but I don't understand the purpose of it here, and more importantly, I don't know how to stop it being added. With regard to the diode, the area value gets mapped across but the perimeter value doesn't and ends up in the User Property box with the subtype. I have tried using propMap but was unsuccessful. Thank you for any help you can provide. Amanda

Thanks Quek, that fixed the perim problem, it was called "pj". However, I'm still unsure how to stop the "subtype" User Property being added to all my instances. Many thanks, Amanda
