Adding New layer

AnilKumar15

Hello ,

I am trying to add new layer (mask) in my layout. I tried to add the layer in my technology but when I stream-out it complains that "Failed to get Stream layer rules for layer-purpose pair `M14:drawing'.All objects on this LPP will be dropped".

Is there any simple full-proof way to include layer ?  My organization does not use any standard foundary and so I have control over the tech-files.

Thanks,

Anil K.

     Hi Anil,

did you add the new layer to your layermap-file too?

(the default layermap-file is located in your lib-directory and is named as the library itself,
    for example .../libdir/MYTECHLIB032S/MYTECHLIB032S.layermap )

    hope this helps

    kind regards

    Stefan
