Fonts are not visiable in Virtuoso LSW & property editors

Dear Experts,

I'm facing the following problems with Virtuoso version# IC61.4.500.5:

When invoking Virtuoso the following error window appears: LE-107020 Not a layout window.  Closing it and opening any layout, in LSW and in property editors fonts appears as empty rectangles. It looks like that the font type is not recognized. Please find lsw_and_property_editors.jpg attached.

My collegues who use the same startup files(.cdsinit, .cdsenv) do not have these problems.

I was wandering if someone can help me to understand what is wrong with my setup.

Thank you,

Anna

    Hi Anna,

This is because the Layers Palette and Virtuoso windows etc. are now implemented using Qt widgets, but I suspect that the LSW and the Property Editor are still using Motif. You can use the property assistant in the layout window as a workaround to the Property Editor form. I think that you should be able to use the property editor assistant in IC614 without needing to use the VLS-XL tier.

    Regards,

    Lawrence.
