Cadence does not recognize technology file

I created a library and I am trying to attach it to an existing technology library. The technology library shows up when I open the library manager. However, when I create a new library and select "attach to existing technology file", the technology library does not show up on the list. I am using Cadence 6.1.4. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi Wonyoung

    Perhaps the "tech.db" file in your tech library has been accidentally deleted. Would you please check the tech directory to see if there is a file named "tech.db"?
