Transistor Finger/Multiplier does not work

Hello!

When I edit the finger/multiplier property of a transistor in schematics(pressing q), it does not make a difference in the simulation.

For example, I tried to doubling the output current of a current mirror by increasing m from 1 to 2.  But the output current remains the same.  So I checked the netlist, it shows that the transistor still have m = 1 even though I edited the finger/multiplier to 2 in the schematics.

Here is my setup:

I am using Cadence virtuoso version 6.1.  And I converted the transistor technology file from the version 5 to version 6 using the conversion tool box.

Thanks,

    Hey skillUser,

    I looked into CDF -> Edit for the settting on finger and multiplier.

    Name|  Prompt                | Type  |  default value | display condition |

    finger |  Number of Finger | string |  1                  | t                        |

    m      |  Multiplier              | string |  1                  | deGetEditCellView()->cellViewType != "maskLayout"|

    The parameters look reasonable to me.  And I tried changing the name from "m" to "mult"; it doesn't seem to do anything.

    FYI, I tried changing Width and Length and they work.  Its just the finger/multiplier that are not working.

    Is there anything else I should look into?

    Thanks
