ocean XL - ocnxl test without analysis statement..

Greetings all,

This is a bit of an esoteric question.  I wish to run an ocean-XL simulation with a group of tests that have no analysis statement within them. Let me explain:

I've created some ocean scripts which contain the 'includeFile' statement and within the included file, there exists some spectre simulation commands.  These are the commands which run the simulation. Now I wish to include these simulations within an ocean XL simulation for regression / corner analysis.  When I tried to blindly build and run with these tests, I found that ocean XL would complain:

"ERROR (ADEXL-1707): No analysis enabled for..."

If I place within the ocean test script a simple (analysis 'dc ?saveOpPoint t) statement, the simulation works as expected.  However, this is an unnecessary simulation from my standpoint since it doesn't contain the actual test. It's just there to make oceanXL happy.

Does anyone know a method to make Ocean XL run a test even when it doesn't contain an analysis statement within it?

Thanks,
Mark

I found that they fixed this in the latest ISR (6.1.5.500.15) by adding in an environmental variable:  ignoreAnalysisCheck

To use it: envSetVal( "adexl.simulation" "ignoreAnalysisCheck" 'boolean t)

This works better than the hack, Yay!
