DRC Problem with assura.

 Hello,

 We obtained IBM_PDK package with 7RF technology, i have installed it, it looked like it went well, the kit integrated in the Cadence environment adding its IBM_PDK menu etc.

Our cadence IC version: IC 6.14.005

Assura version: 4.1,  04.10.006-613

Now what i did is just copied simple element indx from base library to my new library, and then i select IBM_PDK->Checking->Assura->DRC  and it throws the following error:

master7MenuNotSupported("cmrf7sf" "MF" "ibmPdkRunAssuraDRC()" )

*Error* eval: undefined function - vuiDRCRun

<<< Stack Trace >>>

(... in ibmPdkRunAssuraDRC ...)

ibmPdkRunAssuraDRC()

(... in master7MenuNotSupported ...)

master7MenuNotSupported("cmrf7sf" "MF" "ibmPdkRunAssuraDRC()")

ERROR

ddsAboutDFII()

I contacted MOSIS already, they said they did exactly the same thing but could not replicate a problem which i had, however they got only this message:

master7MenuNotSupported("cmrf7sf" "MF" "ibmPdkRunAssuraDRC()" )

but other than that it worked fine for them.

 The only thing which they mentioned is to make sure that if i use IC 6.14 that my Assura is 4.1, but that IS the case.

my .cshrc does contain the lines adding the following PATH places:
$ASSURA/tools/bin
$ASSURA/tools/assura/bin
$ASSURA/tools/dfII/bin

and the LD_LIBRARY_PATH also set to:
$ASSURA/tools/lib
$ASSURA/tools/assura/lib

So it looks like all installed and set up well, then how come i get such an error? What could be the reason? Any suggestion for that?

Thank you!

    Two problems that I can see:

    1. I suspect you've not set $ASSURAHOME to point at the root of the ASSURA installation (you're using an env var $ASSURA). $ASSURAHOME is required so that virtuoso can find the installation in order to load code to implement the user interface.
    2. You appear to be using an Assura version built for use with IC613, but  are actually using IC614. I don't think this will be the cause of this problem (I just tried it and it worked), but it would be wise to use 4.1-614 (@(#)$CDS: assura version av4.1:Production:dfII6.1.4:IC6.1.4.500.10 09/21/2011 14:58 (vl-sfrh48) $)

    Regards,

    Andrew.
