Cadence 6.1.5 ADE question

Hello,

I meet a problem with ADE in Cadence 6.1.5. That is, I cann't see the 'main form' entry in the 'Direct plot'. What I have is 'plot outputs' but it's always grey. It makes me cannot see the SP, GA, NF and other RF circuit specs directly as before in 6.1.3 cadence.

Is there anybody know what's the problem?

 Thanks!

EF

    Hi EF,

Please check your CIW for error/warning messages.   (or the CDS.log file in your project or home directory).  If there are problems, you will see error or warning messages.   Also, verify that you are not using an old .cdsinit or .cdsenv from 6.1.3 (in case some setting in one of those files is causing issues)

I assume that you have an ADE-L simulation window open.  You have set spectre as your simulator and that you have been successful running spectre simulations thus far in ADE.

I just happen to have IC615 open right now and going to start running spectreRF simulations.  (I hope the screen shot comes through and isn't filtered out.  I have included it below).

I have selected from the Simulation window:  Results->Direct Plot->Main Form .  The entry is not greyed out. If you are able to see the Direct Plot form, depending on the simulation that you run (e.g. tran, ac, sp, hb, etc), you will see different options in the Direct Plot form when it appears on your monitor.

    Best regards,
