Help needed changing the pin properties in layout !!

Hi there ,

I was working on a tri-state inverter design using cadence 5 version. Initially i declared the output pin to be output and designed the layout using gen from source option and completed it. But later i recognised that the output pin should be declared as inputandouput pin, i was successful changing the pin property in schematic but when i ran the LVS after this change i got a error message that pin properties does not match..

my question is how to change the output pin property without effecting my already done layout design, i tried different options but couldnt find one which cold change the pin properties in layout ? Please help me in sorting out this problem

Thanks

Siva

    Hi Siva

Would you please let us know if there are any issues in changing the layout pin direction? It seems to be quite an easy change so I am not sure why it cannot be done.

    Thanks
