Virtuoso: "save a copy" from read-only cell in 6.1.4 but not in 6.1.5

Dear all,

the subject already contains most of my question:

If i open a cell in read-only mode, i can save it to a new name when i'm on 6.1.4;
If i'm on 6.1.5 (6.1.5-64b.500.7 as well as 6.1.5-64b.500.10), the menu item "save a copy" is greyed out.

When i switch to "editable", it's available again, and back to "read-only" it's blocked.

Is this a bug or a feature??

The manual to 6.1.5 states ("Saving a Design"):
"Note: You can access the Save a Copy command if a design is opened in read mode.
The command checks out..."

What's wrong, virtuoso, the manual or is it me??

Thanks for your help

Stefan

    Stefan,

    It works for me. I can't see (from looking at the menu definition) why it should behave like this for you.

    Do you have a menus directory somewhere (type "cdswhich menus" in the terminal from which you started virtuoso) - maybe you have an old menus/schView.menus or menus/schematic.menus file which is overwriting the behaviour?

    Andrew.
