 Hello,

How do I translate IC5 libraries to IC6?

Is there any manual available for reference?

 Thanks in advance!

This can be done with the "cdb2oa" command line tool, or using Tools->Conversion Toolbox->CDB to OpenAccess Translator.

As for documentation, you should read:

    • DFII->Virtuoso Design Environment Adoption Guide
    • DFII->CDB to OpenAccess Translator User Guide
    • DFII->Virtuoso Design Environment Migration Guide

These can be found in cdnshelp (or Help from the CIW), or looking at doc/dfoaAdopt/dfoaAdopt.pdf , doc/cdboa/cdboa.pdf and doc/cicMigGuide/cicMigGuide,pdf under the IC61X installation directory.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
