Is it possitble to save data for later use by running AMS ?

Thanks,

    Richard,

That's exactly what the save/restart is for in AMS.

In cdnshelp (make sure it's picking up the documentation from the INCISIV stream you're using - if not, use Edit->Settings->Library and add the path to the INCISIV111/doc dir, or make sure that you pick cdnshelp from the INCISIV111/tools/bin dir (for example)), expand Incisive Enterprise Simulator, and then expand Analog Mixed-Signal Simulation. Select Virtuoso AMS Designer Simulator User Guide, and then in the search enable "Selected items" and search for restart.

Or just search for the word restart in <INCISIVrootDir>/doc/amssimug/amssimug.pdf

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Hi, Andrew

I have save snapshot times, when I change the load current in the testbench, the current waveform is as same as before change after I restart the simulation in the ams.

    Best regards,

    nnlt.

Not sure what you're doing (posting onto the end of a 7 year old thread is against the Forum Guidelines though), but this should work. There are two (at least) Rapid Adoption Kits on this:

    • Process Based Save Restart (AXUM Flow)
    • Using AMS Save Restart with Explorer and xrun

I'd start by looking at those, and if you still have a problem, please contact customer support so that we can understand why it isn't working in your environment.

    Kind Regards,

    Andrew.
