2011 Models for TSMC RF90NM

Anyone know why I would be getting these errors when changing from 2006 Models to 2011 Models?

ERROR (SFE-2): "input.scs" 83: `I2.M9': Attempt to override value of inherited parameter `rgflag' when instantiating a subcircuit.
Warning from spectre in `x:`I2', during hierarchy flattening.

ERROR .......value of inherited parameter `wpeflag' when instantiating a subcircuit

Thanks,

Justin

    Justin,

Which version of MMSIM are you using? Maybe it's relying on a feature not available in the version you're using?

    Andrew.

At the top of the simulator output, what version number does it say? For example:

Cadence (R) Virtuoso (R) Spectre (R) Circuit Simulator
    Version 11.1.0.366.isr7 32bit -- 20 Mar 2012

    Regards,

    Andrew.

Previous suggestions didn't resolve the issue.

I merged this thread with your previous one, since it's the same issue.

I would suggest you contact TSMC. My guess is that you're not including the correct sections of the model file, but it's hard to know without seeing your setup.

    Andrew.

TSMC were very helpful, after waiting for a week for a reply they said it was a tool problem so I am no further along.

Can you log this as a service request? Unless we can see precisely how you're including the models, and precisely which version of the model files you're using, there's very little we can do to help. That's not really something you can give in an open forum, because you're probably revealing TSMC's IP, which they are not likely to be very happy about...

    Andrew.
