EldoD simulator can't be set in ADE virtuoso 6.1.5

Hello ,

How can I set directly my simulator with ADE ?

 Even if .cdsenv variable setted to # asimenv.startup simulator       string  "eldoD"   #

I don't see "eldoD" in  ADE~>setup~>Simulation/directory/host~>Simulator .

Is there another way to define default simulator in ADE ?

  • If it's not shown in the list of choices, you can't set it as the default. If it's in the choices, then you can set it as the default.

    If it's not shown in the list of choices, the most likely explanation is that you're not loading Mentor's customization to add the Eldo interface from your .cdsinit - so this is more of a question for Mentor Graphics as to how you should do that (it's covered in their documentation). I know how it was done in the past but haven't seen the interface for a couple of releases, so best to look at their documentation or ask Mentor Graphics themselves.
