How to change calculator default settings?

Not a huge issue, but I'm annoyed how the stack always comes up by default in the calculator and compresses the function list. I don't normally need to see the stack, so I uncheck View->Show Stack. Is there a way to set this as the default option so I don't have to do it every time I bring up the calculator window? Thanks.

I'm using IC615. It doesn't remember from one instance of the calculator window to another, let alone the virtuoso session. Is there maybe a .cdsenv variable for this?
