(Virtuoso) how to move/stretch an object by a deltaX (or Y) distance?

I want to move/stretch an object by a relative distance, say 5um.

I can do it by observing the the dx value shown at the top of the layout window, but in another way, how could I drectly key in the 5um so that the object is moved to the desired coordination directly.

I key in 5 in the delta X column inside the dialogue box and press enyer, it does not work.

I press the "applyXY" buttom but it shows "You should change the snap mode for DeltXY to work". What does it mean? What should I do?

Please help !!  I have hundres of line to move/stretch !!

For the snap you have to go to the "Display Options".
Probably the move is not allowed because your violationg something.
Or your moving the objects offgrid.

But the probably most simplest way to do a relative move/strech is
if when you get prompted for a reference point for your move/stretch
you enter the origin coordinates (0.0:0.0) in the input pane of the CIW.
And if you get prompted for the new point or location you enter
the coordinates for the relative move/stretch in the CIW.
