vdbToRcx error

Hello,

 I am trying to make a parasitic extraction using EXT11 as required by technology (CMOS7RF da IBM). But, it creates an error with a tool that seems not to exist :  vdbToRcx. The error message is the following :

GOALIE2DIR=/opt/cds/PVE111/tools.lnx86/extraction/bin

export GOALIE2DIR

vdbToRcx /home/emmanuel/cadence/IBM_invert inve -unit meters -- -V1 -H \

satfile -r /home/emmanuel/cadence/IBM_invert/inve.xcn -df2 -xgl

/home/emmanuel/cadence/IBM_invert/inve/rcx.sh[163]: vdbToRcx: not found [No such file or directory]

ERROR (LBRCXM-609): Bad return status from RCX run. 0x7f00

I verified in  /opt/cds/PVE111/tools.lnx86/extraction/bin. Really, vdbToRcx does not exist. Is it a problem of the script that is trying to use a function that does not exist. Or it is a problem of installation of PVE111 that does not included vdbToRcx ?

Regards

    It was just a problem of PATH definition. $ASSURA_HOME/tools/bin was not in the path.

    BTW, the EXT streams are obsolete now. In the past there were separate streams for QRC (EXT), QuickView (KQV) and PVS (PVS), but these have been combined into a newer stream, the PVE stream. So the PVE versions are all newer than the EXT stream.

    I would expect that that the vdbToRcx is only necessary if using Assura LVS together with QRC.

    Andrew.

    Sorry, this was intended as a reply to another (similar) thread...
