Naming output signals in ADE XL

In the Outputs Setup tab of ADE XL (I'm using 6.1.5) it's possible to assign a "name" to an output, whether it's an expression or a signal. But when I click "plot" after the simulation has finished, the traces for expressions are labelled with the name I assigned in the output tab, while the signals are plotted with just their "signal name".

I.e., if I have a signal /I2/in, to which I assign the name "in", and an expression VT("/I2/out") which I've named "out", then in my waveform window I end up with one trace named "/I2/in" and one trace named "out". Is there a way to tell ADE XL to plot signals with their assigned names too?

Currently, no. There's a CCR for this already (can't remember the number).

So I would suggest contacting customer support to request this too (then a duplicate can be filed, which helps with prioritization).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
