Skill Script for selcting a portion of area in schematic editor in IC5141

 Dear All,

I like to have a skill script that can enable me to select a portion of area in Schematic composer.

For example:- I clicked a point ( left mouse click) and a rectangle is created and when I clicked the mouse at the opposite diagonal of the rectangle then the area inside the rectangle should be selected (highlighted).

Also polygon would be more preferable. This will enable to select exact area.

Could anybody please share / help in getting the SKILL script that can achieve the above.

Kind Regards,

    Hi,

while it's not that hard to use  the "geSelectArea() " function to achieve what you are looking for I wonder
why you would need such and not just use the  build in area selection by holding the left mouse button
and dragging it over the area? Using Shift and Ctrl to add and remove objects from the selection can be
    done this way as well.

    Regards,

    Marc
