Run ADE XL without netlisting each time

Hello,

I am using a process file in witch are defined models for typical and mismatch with different names, for example nch and nch_mat. The problem is than when I'm trying to do a Monte Carlo simulation, i need to modify manually the netlist and replace nch with nch_mat, in our example, and when I press run in ADE XL it generates a new netlist and it doesn't take into account that I modified the model names. Is there a way in I can run ADE XL without netlisting each time and use the modified netlist? Thank you for your help.

 Regards,

Nicusor

    Hi Rishi,

Why do you want to edit the netlist? It's almost certainly the wrong way to solve a problem and it almost certainly would be rather difficult to make it work reliably. There's no single file you'd have to netlist across all corners, in most situations. You'd have to netlist it in each and every corner using the method I linked to earlier in this thread. I'd however like to understand what you're trying to achieve to see if there's a better fix.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
